Giulia Zappaterra focuses on data protection and cybersecurity issues, also managing global compliance projects regarding the implementation of the GDPR, data transfers, marketing and advertising, employee monitoring, whistleblowing programs and cyber security compliance. She regularly negotiates privacy and security terms and agreements, advises national and foreign clients on the internal privacy and security policies and procedure to be adopted and in the implementation of intra-group data transfer agreements to achieve compliance with laws in multiple jurisdictions.

In addition to the above, Giulia has a deep knowledge of information technology issues, e-commerce and e-payment assistance, and consumers law, assisting both Italian and international companies in judicial and extra judicial matters. She also advises clients in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and technology contracts, including cloud projects.
